Casas + Architects envisioned Maybank Performing Arts Center to be a home for art in its many forms. Located next to a park with an amphitheater, Casas + Architects drew inspiration from Japanese designs for the canopies and walkways that link these spaces. 

With its colorful palette and rich texture, patrons and artists are encouraged to freely mingle with one another whether it be at the cozy coffee shop or soaring three-storey lobby.
