Far Eastern University Alabang - Chapel
For its work on the FEU Chapel, Casas + Architects earned the Red Carpet Asia Pacific Property Award 5 Stars for Public Service Architecture.
The chapel is located in the Far Eastern University’s Alabang campus located within the Filinvest Corporate City. The chapel’s roof pattern is inspired by the “hand prayer gesture” as shown in the intersecting lines and also the triangular shape of the silhouette of the chapel. The clasped hands prayer gesture is ubiquitous in Christianity. The hands are clasped together and held before the heart; it is a symbol of submission and sincerity.
