In 2011, Asia’s oldest university, the University of Santo Tomas (UST), celebrated its 400th year of foundation. To commemorate this milestone, Casas + Architects was commissioned to design a new sports complex: The Quadricentennial Pavilion. This complex is designed to showcase the university’s holistic sports development program and to cater to the various needs of its student body.
The Quadricentennial Pavilion epitomizes the Center of Excellence and Centers Development accreditations the Commision on Higher Education (CHED) issued to the university for several of its degree programs.
St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church

When designing St. Michael Parish Church, Casas + Architects envisioned the house of prayer to be an avenue where the Catholic Church could continue spreading the good news and teachings of the Bible to parishioners. The construction of the parish spanned six years in which mass celebrations were moved to a makeshift chapel.

Maxims Hotel

The Maxims Hotel is categorized as a 6-Star Hotel with 166 Suites, 3 Villas and a Presidential Suite atop the Newport Complex. The hotel is complemented by a business center, spa and gym, all-day dining restaurant, and a lap pool with landscaping and cabanas. The Presidential Suite which is located at the 5th level has its own pool deck area overlooking the lagoon.
Lexus Showroom
Casas + Architects designed the Lexus Showroom to reflect the brand’s luxurious cars. Inspired by Lexus’ Japanese origin, the Bonifacio Global City showroom is characterized by sleek modern lines and a quiet elegance that complements the lineup of cars they offer.
Insular Life Renovation
In line with Insular Life’s sustainability thrust, Casas+Architects created an energy-efficient design with eco-friendly features. As a result, the US Green Building Council awarded the newly renovated building with the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certification.
Completed in November 2017, Insular Life Makati’s building is composed of 14 floors for both office and BPO use, a ballroom, and five level car park.
The LEED is the globally recognized green building rating system in the world, which encourages buildings, communities and home projects to become healthy, highly efficient, and cost-saving green estates.
